H1N1 Information

In response to the growing concern about the H1N1 (Swine) flu epidemic and in conjunction with Lippincott's NursingCenter.com, Wolters Kluwer Health has developed a free educational handout to help explain H1N1.

First Aid Kit

We keep q-tips, alcohol wipes, hydrogen peroxide solution, and band-aids for minor cuts and injuries. The kits are located in Room 133, University West for the Victoria Campus, at the front desk in UHS Sugar Land, and at the Administration Office in UHS Cinco Ranch.

Student Insurance

The Office of Student Activities & Services provides insurance information for all students.

Students who need insurance information may call 361-570-4102 or toll free at 1-877-970-4848 ext. 102.

International students who hold an F-1 student visa are required to show proof of medical insurance with medical evacuation/repatriation coverage while they are enrolled at the University of Houston Victoria. Beginning with the Fall 2003 semester, F-1 international students at UHV who do not have insurance coverage will have the opportunity to purchase a medical coverage plan from Macori, Inc. of Spring, Texas.
