Marketing Committee
Purpose: The UH-Victoria
Marketing Committee will develop a strategic marketing
plan for
the university. The planning process will include identifying
issues; analyzing information; recommending policies, strategies and
resource priorities; conducting assessments and reviewing findings
of the university’s efforts to enhance enrollment.
Reporting: The Marketing Committee reports to the
Executive Director of Student Services and Regional Outreach.
Meetings: The UHV Marketing
Committee will meet as needed
Budget Request
Procedure: The funding to support the strategic
marketing plan will be included in the Community and Alumni
Relations budget and the Academic Schools budget. An assessment of
marketing activities for the current fiscal year dollars needs to be
included with a brief description of the marketing initiative and
dollars spent.
Special requests for
funding for marketing activities must be received six (6) weeks
prior to the UHV budget hearings. All special marketing budget
requests will be reviewed by the UHV Marketing Committee. The
committee will look for alignment with the Strategic Marketing Plan
and availability of funds, making recommendations of support
accordingly. Special requests for marketing funds received after
the budget hearings should be made directly to the UHV Budget
Committee.
