University committees
serve a variety of functions. They bring together faculty, staff,
and students to share information and opinions, to develop
proposals, and to provide recommendations. Each committee has the
responsibility of continually reviewing its charge and composition,
as well as performing its specific duties. Changes to these should
be channeled through the entity to which the committee reports and
provided to the Provost's office, so that they can be incorporated
on the website.
