Minutes Provost's Office UHV

Academic Council Minutes, April 9, 2001

I. General Agenda

  • Chari Norgard noted WebCT downtime is now scheduled for May 16-24 and thus should not pose a problem. She noted that Dr. Linda Hayes will do a presentation at the COW workshop in May.
  • Joe Ferguson said SPSS CD's had been provided to UHV faculty in Fort Bend, if they had requested SPSS.
  • It was noted that the open house announcement for Cinco Ranch contained errors and omissions on programs offered.
  • ITV availability in Sugar Land for meetings with Fort Bend faculty has been a problem. Provost is to pursue blocking out certain ITV times for meetings.
  • A proposed late start for summer I for UHD Education courses was not considered a problem--so long as there was no conflict with the summer II schedule.
  • The provost distributed copies of the Cinco Ranch floor plan and CampusNet budget.
