--Denied request for waiver of core requirements for second bachelor's.

Faculty Development Grants:

--Approved a request of Dr. Roy Foley for a travel grant ($600) to chair a session and make a presentation at the National Conference of Professors of Educational Administration in Ypsilanti, MI, in August.

--Approved a request of Dr. Nora Hutto for a travel grant ($600) to serve as a program chair and make a presentation at the National Conference of Professors of Education Administration in Ypsilanti, MI, in August.

--Approved a request of Dr. Ron Sardessai for a travel grant ($735) to present at the New England Business Administration Association 2000 International Conference in New Haven, CT, in April.

--Accepted reports on grant-funded conference travel from Professor Charles Bullock, Dr. Nora Hutto, and Dr. Harold Smith.

Fort Bend:

--Discussed whether lead-support program concept had outlived its usefulness and whether degree-granting institution should be responsible for delivery of the who program (which is close to the de facto situation now).
