Faculty Development Grants:

Approved

--Request of Dr. Martin Munoz for a travel grant ($400) to present at a poster session at the Southwestern Psychological Association 46th Annual Convention in Dallas, TX in April.

--Request of Dr. Harold Smith for a travel grant ($600) to present at the 5th Southern Conference on Women's History in Richmond, VA in June.

Accepted

--Reports on grant-funded conference travel from Dr. Roy Foley, Dr. Marie Plemons, and Dr. Harold Smith.

Dual Admission:

--Reviewed, revised information in brochures.

Teaching and Research Assistantships:

--Incorporated standing policy into catalog. They must relate to student's program, be of value to the university, and be approved by the appropriate academic school.

Other:

--Reviewed, revised tracking list of projects in progress.

--Noted that a needs assessment will be conducted in cooperation with Blinn College.

--Discussed progress in addressing articulation concerns at Fort bend MITC.
