3.1  Budget Allocations

• Establish and maintain communications on spending priorities and cost control throughout year.

• Schools are expected to stay within their budgets, including salaries (full-time, part-time, and summer), unless enrollment growth warrants supplemental funds and these are available.

3.2  Budget Hearings/Presentations

• Review assessment report for prior year.

• Review current goals and expenses.

• Consider next year's goals, priorities, strategies, and funding needs.

• Prepare unit plans and budget requests.

3.3  Deadlines

• Last month to submit requisitions for equipment maintenance, service contracts, for service to start new fiscal year.

• Last month to submit requisitions for consumable office supplies.
