Just The Basics...

What?	PeopleSoft Student Administration software is being implemented at UH-Victoria to handle all student-related information:  schedules, courses, grades, records, transcripts, etc.
Why?	Our seventeen-year-old legacy system (called ADMIN) has done an amazing job for us, but can’t take us into the future to support the kinds of reporting and tracking we need to do.
Where?	UH-Victoria and UH (main campus) are implementing the new software. UH-Clear Lake is already using the software and has upgraded to the same version UHV and UH are using (version 8.9). All four UH System universities have used PeopleSoft HR and Finance since 2001.
When?	Go-Live for the new software is Spring 2007, in time for registration and processing of students for Fall 2007. The old ADMIN system will be used for Spring and Summer 2007 registration, billing, grades, and all other records.
Who?	Everyone who currently uses the ADMIN system will change over to PeopleSoft. Faculty, staff and students will have a new self-service interface accessible via the internet.
How?	A dedicated Project Team has been working with staff, faculty, students, administrators, and consultants for two years to convert data and processes to PeopleSoft. They have also conducted extensive testing, begun in early Fall 2006 and continuing throughout Go-Live.

 What does PeopleSoft look like?
