Intro to PeopleSoft Student Administration
Pre-requisite for Staff Role-based Training
Intro to Student Admin (ONLINE) teaches the basic structure and navigation for the PeopleSoft Student Admin application, including, for example, PS terminology, Academic Structure, Effective Dating, and Search/Match. This training is interactive.
(This application and training are not the same for HR or Financial application users.)
All staff using PeopleSoft Student Admin at UHV must complete this training prior to their role-based training.
Steps to register for INTRO for UHV staff and administrative faculty who use ADMIN:
1. You may already be registered. If you have been an ADMIN user, follow the steps below. If you get to step #6 and cannot see "SAAISA-Intro to Student Admin" on the WebCT page, or you have NOT been an ADMIN user, then you are not yet registered and should register by emailing a request to enroll in Online Intro, along with your name and PeopleSoft ID (this is your 7-digit Empl/Employee number on your pay check) to:
2. Go to http://scholar.uh.edu
3. Select "UHS Professional Development and Required Training." (NOT "University of Houston-Victoria"!)
4. Select "login."
5. Login according to the instructions given on the login page.
6. You should see a WebCT page with blue background and the words "SAAISA - Intro to Student Admin" indicating that the course is available for you to take (and therefore you are registered!). If you do NOT see the course listed, please email peoplesofttraining@uh.edu for assistance.
7. Click on the INTRO course link in WebCT and begin with Step 1.
