University Advancement
The Division of University Advancement serves the University of Houston-Victoria by building and strengthening relationships with diverse constituencies that encourage investment in and support of the university, its programs and initiatives.
University Advancement is responsible for fundraising, internal and external communications, and marketing. In the fall of 2010, University of Houston-Victoria began a new journey titled "downward expansion" converting from a higher level institution to a four year institution now serving freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. With this transition, it is now more important than ever to support our students as enrollment is increasing each year.
University Advancement has a commitment to the development of our university to generate private contributions to supplement the university's state and federal revenues for capital, operations, and student assistance funds. Along with development, we are also responsible for alumni relations which include building relationships between current students, alumni, and friends of the university to ensure a lasting connection to, and support of, the mission of the university.
