Onsite Visit

What is an On-Site Review?

Conducted four to six months after a university receives feedback on its Compliance Certification by an off-site review committee, the On-Site Review typically consists of a three-day visit to the campus by a committee of professionals from southern universities of similar size. The On-Site Review Committee has the responsibility of reviewing documentation presented in the university's Focused Report before coming to campus. During the early part of their visit, committee members may choose to meet with specific individuals to clarify information and ask additional questions related to the SACSCOC standards. Later in their visit, the On-Site Review Committee will focus on the university's Quality Enhancement Plan. They will interview faculty, staff, and students about the sufficiency of the plan, its acceptance by the campus community, and its potential for positive outcomes. The On-Site Review concludes with the committee's report of its findings to the university President.

Our onsite visit is scheduled for April 6-9, 2014.
