Financial Aid Summer Enrollment Information
In addition to have the 2011-12 FAFSA and/or Scholarship Application on file with the Office of Financial Aid:
- Log in to MyUHV, go the Self-Service.
- Choose Financial Aid from the main menu.
- Click on "UHV FA Summer Form" from the Financial Aid menu and fill in the number of hours you will be enrolled for the upcoming summer 2012 semester. Next check if you want to receive federal loans.
- If you know the amount of the loan you want fill in the appropriate box or, check the "Maximum" box.
- If you have completed the loan section read the information paragraph and check the adjacent box.
- Click on the "Save" box.
If you have already submitted your request for summer financial aid and you have a change in your anticipated hours of enrollment for the summer, please submit an email to finaid@uhv.edu. The priority deadline for submitting this data is March 15, 2012.
Direct Loans and Pell Grants are available to those that still have loan eligibility. Students who have not received the maximum annual award limit in the fall and spring semesters may be awarded the remaining eligibility. Some state and institutional funds may also be available. Go to the "How to Apply for Financial Aid" instructions (www.uhv.edu/ofa/how_to_apply.aspx) on the UHV website to ensure all necessary 2011-12 paperwork has been submitted.
If you are an undergraduate who plans to co-enroll, complete the co-enrolled hours box below and a consortium agreement form. Send in a copy of the Paid Fee Receipt and Class Schedule. The UHV Consortium Agreement partners are: Victoria College, Wharton County Junior College, Austin Community College, Coastal Bend College and Houston Community College.
