Application Priority Deadlines

All application steps should be completed by the following priority deadline dates. This will ensure that your file be reviewed in the first round of awarding for the upcoming semester. It is the student's responsibility to review his/her financial aid status on line in MyUHV. In addition, students need to periodically check his/her UHV student email account for financial aid correspondence.

Applications completed after the dates listed below will be processed on a "first completed, first awarded" basis after the respective registration period has ended. It is advantageous to complete all the paperwork and submit all documents requested as soon as possible. Link to the How To Apply link on the Financial Aid Web Page.

If the priority deadline is not met, other arrangements must be made for the payment of your initial fees.

Students must complete the FAFSA each academic year to be considered for need based aid. A UHV Scholarship Application must be completed each academic year to be considered for scholarships.
