Agency scholarships are scholarships awarded by outside organizations and clubs. The office receives scholarship applications which are available for students to browse through. College Scholarships For Military Veterans:
The Marines' Memorial Association is an organization that is open to veterans and active duty personnel of all military branches who served honorably in the military and in April 2014 the organization will award $35,000 in scholarships to our U.S. Military Veterans from all branches.

The deadline for the scholarship application, which can be completed online, is April 23, 2014.

The following 2 Scholarship Programs are open to all veterans and do not require a membership to the Marines Memorial Association to apply:

Five of these Hammer Family Scholarships are available in the amount of $5,000 each. All eligible U.S. Veterans who wish to study in the fields of Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering (Aerospace, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials, or Mechanical) are welcome to apply. James and Linda Hammer are Benefactor Members of the Marines' Memorial Association and are eager to assist student Veterans committed to advancing their education. Four of these Memorial Tribute Scholarships are available in the amount of $2,500 each. The Tribute Scholarship is available for military personnel leaving full time service and entering an undergraduate college program. All US military personnel who have transitioned from Active Duty to reserve or civilian status within the past 3 years may apply. Victoria Electric Cooperative Scholarship
Victoria Electric Cooperative will be awarding college scholarships to high school seniors throughout our service area. For 2014 there are 10, $1,000 scholarships available.  These scholarships are available to any graduating high school senior whose parents or guardian is a residential member or parent is employed by Victoria Electric Cooperative.  Annual scholarship applications including rules and regulations are available at the cooperative, and on this website.  Application deadline is April 25, 2014: http://www.victoriaelectric.coop/scholarship
