Summer 10 Week and Summer 1 - June 4, 2012
Summer 2 - July 9, 2012
Disbursements occur Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
All documentation must be completed prior to disbursement.
TEACH Grant Counseling
TEACH Grant Entrance Counseling
Each student awarded a TEACH Grant will be required go through TEACH Grant Entrance Counseling before the grant will be disbursed. The online counseling session is located at https://teach-ats.ed.gov/ats/studentHome.action.
A TEACH Grant will be converted to an unsubsidized Direct Loan if the student fails to complete his/her service obligation (teach for four years in a high-need, low income school within an eight year period). It is very important to learn the details of the TEACH Grant.
TEACH Grant Subsequent Counseling
Each student awarded an additional TEACH Grant will be required go through TEACH Grant Subsequent Counseling before the additional grant award will be disbursed. The online counseling session is located at https://teach-ats.ed.gov/ats/studentHome.action.
TEACH Grant Exit Counseling
Each time a student withdraws from a TEACH-eligible program or graduate, the student must complete a TEACH Grant Exit Counseling session. The online counseling session is located at http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/.
