Introduction

Mission Statement for the educational programs. The mission of the School of Nursing is to produce graduates for professional nursing practice who can draw upon knowledge from the biological sciences, social sciences, humanities and nursing to critically analyze human responses to actual and potential health problems and provide appropriate nursing interventions.

The RN to MSN bridge program is designed to allow associate degree and diploma nurses to obtain a master’s degree with a focus as clinical nurse specialist, nurse administrator, or clinical leader in the most streamlined manner possible. In addition, the RN to MSN bridge program will allow those nurses with baccalaureate degrees in disciplines other than nursing an opportunity to obtain a MSN.
