Overview
The Simulation Center at University of Houston Victoria ,School of nursing located at UH system Sugar Land Campus is a multidisciplinary, hospital-based center, providing hands-on clinical simulation training in a realistic environment to improve patient safety and patient care. The state-of-the-art, simulation facility offers a clinical setting where our nursing students and health care professionals can train through simulation, observation and debriefing for real-life clinical crises.

The Simulation center consists of high-fidelity simulators that include Sim Man, Sim Baby and Sim NewB to simulate real-life clinical scenarios which help our students In collaborative learning in a realistic, clinical environment, teamwork training and performance assessment through video observation and group debriefings. By running high fidelity simulations, the center is able to close the gap between the classroom and real life learning in clinical setting, resulting in student awareness in improved patient safety, developing reflective thinking and clinical competence.
