Message from the Founding Dean:
Kathryn Tart, RN, EdD, CNE
Welcome to the University of Houston Victoria, School of Nursing! We are an innovative nursing program that began in 2006 to provide upper level nursing education to Victoria and surrounding counties and to the Fort Bend and surrounding counties in Texas.
We graduated our first RN-BSN students in August 2007, our first Second Degree BSN students in August 2008 and our first MSN students in December 2009. We continue to grow in offering excellent undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. We offer the RN-BSN, MSN and RN-MSN programs on our Victoria and UH System at Sugar Land and UH System at Cinco Ranch campuses for those individuals who currently hold a RN license.
We offer the Second Degree BSN program in Sugar Land and Katy, Texas for those individuals who have completed a university degree and want to become a nurse. We are meeting the dreams of individuals and partner hospitals by providing innovative nursing excellence in the growing coastal bend area of Texas where nurses live and work.
Students appreciate the convenience and flexibility of the programs.Listen to what our students have to say : RN to BSN
