UHV GRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

1. A complete application (available at: www.applytexas.org)
2. An official transcript from each college attended (mailed directly from each institution to UHV)
3. Appropriate GRE exam scores must be mailed directly from the Educational Testing Service to UHV
4. Admissions Index of 1400/980 or higher. For more information click here.

MS PUBLISHING ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Admission to the Master of Science in Publishing program is based on an evaluation by the Program's admissions committee of the following information:

1. 1-2 page essay that states the applicant’s reasons for applying to the program and the applicant's career goals.
2. Two letters of recommendation.
3. A writing sample (8-12 pages) or a portfolio containing 3-5 works of graphic art or a combination (such as a 5-page writing sample and 2 works of graphic art).
