TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHING
The effective use of technology can help to make the
learning experience more engaging for the students and make
online teaching a little easier to manage. While there are
new gadgets and gizmos popping up everyday, not all will
have a place in teaching, though. We can help research and
test the latest technologies to help determine their
potential as a teaching tool or to save time and effort.
Tell us about the problems you have and we'll try to help
you find a solution.
In this section, we will highlight some of the hardware
and software tools that are currently in use here on campus,
as well as explore some technology ideas that you can
incorporate into your teaching.
Adobe Acrobat Connect and Adobe Presenter (formerly Adobe
Breeze)
Adobe Acrobat Connect and Adobe Presenter are two powerful tools
for creating web content and facilitating online conferencing and
collaboration. Faculty and staff can use them to create web content
and conduct online meetings or presentations. Students can view the
content developed for their courses and participate in online Adobe
Acrobat Connect meetings or web conferences. For more details, visit
