PSY6334 Theories and Issues in Psychotherapy - Dr. Rick Harrington

Background Information

  • PSY6334 is a major foundation course for the counseling psychology and school psychology graduate programs at UHV
  • The course is 100% online
  • All students have gained formal regular admission to one of the UHV psychology graduate programs, who are very motivated learners
  • Students are typically older than the traditional students and very motivated learners
  • Dr. Harrington applied the techniques he learned in Title V to improve the course

  • A Camtasia screen recording that guides the students through the Social Psychology website
    • Allowing students to "tour" the website
    • Giving them an idea of where important tools and resources are located
  • A course introduction video by Dr.  Harrington to give students an idea of what will be covered and what they should expect
