Course Highlights

  • An audio welcome message greets online students into the course
    • Make the instructor more personal and give the students a better idea who the professor is
    • A text transcript is accompanying the audio so that the students can get the welcome message even if they have audio or hearing problems
  • Audio comments are used to provide instructor feedback to course assignments
    • Student papers are converted to PDF files
    • Instructor recorded and inserted her audio comments using her own voice and Adobe Acrobat Professional's built-in tools
    • Students appreciate more clear and concise feedback on their work
  • Lecture notes in PDF format are easy for students to read, save, print, search, and even zoom into notes and other content
