Description and Special Notes: The idea for this project is quite simply based on an established website http://storycorps.net/.  The project however envisions both digitalized audio and video interviews and written transcripts of oral histories with individuals who have resided all, or most of their lives in the Victoria Area.  The operative plan is for Professors Holm and Padelford to formulate standard oral history interview forms which will be administered by the UHV students enrolled in their fall classes who will receive special training for this purpose.  IT classrooms at UHV have been used for many of the interviews.
