Forgot Your Password


If you have forgotten your password and are unable to reset it via self-service features, contact the department responsible for the account as indicated below. You will be required to verify your identity before your password will be reset.

Staff Accounts

If you have not set up your self-service password recovery questions and need your password reset, contact Information Technology, located on the second floor of University Center on the UH-Victoria campus. If you are not on campus, you can Request Help via email or call the Help Desk at 361.570.4399 or 1.877.970.4848, Ext. 4399.

 

The UHV Password Self Service site allows you to set up password recovery questions which will enable you to reset your UHV Staff Account password in case you forget your password in the future. Login to the site using your UHV Faculty Account username and password. Select "Setup Password Recovery Questions". Select two of the questions, enter the appropriate answers, and click "Save".

 

Should you forget your password in the future, connect to the UHV Password Self Service site, and select "Reset Forgotten Password". You will be required to enter a new password and provide the answers to the questions you previously selected.

PeopleSoft Accounts

PeopleSoft Account passwords can be reset by using the self-service password reset link located on the PeopleSoft login page. Click on “Forgot Your Password?” and follow the steps to have a new password emailed to you. If you are unable to reset your password via self-service, contact Information Technology, located on the second floor of University Center on the UH-Victoria campus. If you are not on campus, you can Request Help via email or call the Help Desk at 361.570.4399 or 1.877.970.4848, Ext. 4399.

ADMIN Accounts / LaserFiche Accounts

Passwords on the accounts listed above are reset by Information Technology. Call the Help Desk at Ext. 4399 or 361.570.4399 or 1.877.970.4848, Ext. 4399.
