Smart Phone Support
UHV IT will support the use of mobile devices to access UHV student email. This support includes email, calendar/scheduling, task list, and contacts.
UHV IT will support Windows Mobile 6.1 devices from any mobile phone provider. A complete list of over 40 available Windows Mobile phones, including the ability to sort by carrier and features, is available at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile. You may also connect using any Smartphone that supports a direct Microsoft Exchange connection such as the iPhone 3Gs, Android devices and the Palm Pre. Neither POP nor IMAP email connections are supported.
Blackberry devices are also not supported.
When configuring your phone, use the mail server "mail.uhv.edu". Other configuration settings will vary depending on the phone. If you need assistance with your configuration, please contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@uhv.edu or (361) 570-4399 or 1-877-970-4848 Ext. 4399.
