How can I tell when the
network is down?
Answer
The network usually
isn’t “down”. If you suspect an error, first open up
your web browser and try to hit
www.uhv.edu. If can see the web site, the
UHV infrastructure is internally correct and working.
If uhv.edu does not load, then try someplace outside
uhv.edu like
www.google.com. If
you can access this page also, then both connections
are working.
Usually when the network
is performing slowly, changes are being made. Try
accessing the pages again and if errors still occur
contact the helpdesk. |
