login to WebCT Vista beginning Monday, August
21st.

for UHV Online Students! We will
host 4 face-to-face orientation sessions for
students new to WebCT Vista or online courses.

details and date/time info.
Weekly server maintenance is scheduled
each Friday morning from 4:00am-8:00am. You should not
try to access your courses during this time. |

STEPS TO LOG IN TO VISTA
Download Java plug-in and configure browser settings
You MUST have the Sun Java plug-in, between version 1.4.2_06
and 1.5.0_05, installed on your computer in order
to use WebCT Vista. Your browser must also be configured
properly. Follow the instructions provided in the Computer
Requirements section. You should check your settings each
time you use a different computer to access your online courses.
Get your WebCT Vista Username
Your username will not be available until the first day of
class. You will need to know your UHV Student ID number (6-digit
number) to retrieve your WebCT username. Follow the instructions
provided on the WebCT Username
Lookup page.
Review the Vista tutorials
Review the Vista
tutorials to become familiar with the most commonly used
tools in your online courses.
Log on to Vista
Online courses will not be available until the first day
of class. Click the Log
on to WebCT Vista logo near the top right of this page.
You will be directed to the UHV institution on the Vista server
where you will enter your username and password information.
Run the browser check script that verifies your browser is
configured to work with Vista. Click the "Run
a Browser Check" link before logging in. A Browser
Check link is also visible on your My WebCT page.
