Student Resources
UHV is committed to providing convenient, accessible instruction
to all its students. To increase accessibility and access,
UHV offers both online programs and courses. ISS has developed
numerous resources that should help students in the online
classroom.
Instructional Support Services wants to keep students informed
about the use of technology in the classroom. ISS and the
the Faculty Advisory Committee on Technology continually review
the latest technologies that will enhance online learning.
Online courses provided a lot of flexibility and the opportunity
for more self-paced learning. To help students easily adjust
to and use the technology so that they can focus on learning,
Instructional Support Services offers answers to frequently
asked questions about online courses, along with tutorials
and other valuable information about online courses.
UHV values students and realizes the importance of providing
quality services to enrolled students. Since WebCT is used
for online course delivery, each of the three academic schools
provides WebCT support for students. Also, tutoring and library
services are available to help support students' academic
pursuits. Finally, those students requiring assistance can
request accommodations thorugh the University.
