Faculty Training
Faculty have a variety of training options to make learning
to work with technology easy and convenient.
Each year the four UH campuses run a 2-3 day CampusNet Online
Workshop (COW) workshop for faculty interested in teaching
online. The workshop combines instructional design principles
with hand-ons training, and opportunities for information
sharing and interaction with other UH faculty to help faculty
move from the traditional to the online classroom.
Faculty have access to a wealth of training materials and
tutorials online that they can access and use at their convenience.
ISS provides convenient, just-in-time training for faculty
teaching online. This training is designed to address timely,
practical topics in either one-on-one or small group sessions.
