Faculty Services
As faculty adopt and use technology, UHV is committed to
providing a high level of faculty support. The goal is to
provide faculty access to the resources they will need to
efficiently produce and deliver high quality instruction online.
To help faculty efficiently use WebCT, technical staff are
available in each of the three academic schools to provide
assistance.
Faculty are encouraged to arrange a session(s) with an Instructional
Designer to discuss goals and objectives for the online course.
The designer can work with faculty to help plan and develop
an engaging, highly interactive online online course.
Multimedia can add instructional value to an online course.
To help faculty appropriately choose and design effective
multimedia, the Multimedia Specialist weighs the instructional
value against bandwidth and accessibility considerations.
