an online course or when seeking to enhance an existing online
course. However, technology should be chosen to match your
learning objectives, teaching practices, and student needs.
The Multimedia Specialist can assist you by:
- Discussing the most appropriate or effective media formats
or technology options that meet your teaching goals
- Finding existing media resources that supplement your
course material based on your prescribed criteria
- Providing hands-on time to help you create resources and
media content
- Designing and producing media elements, such as graphics,
animations, and movies, that integrate into your course
- Providing training or tutorials in the use of some of
the technology tools
WebCT Technical Support
Online support technicians in each of the three schools provide
WebCT support for faculty and students. Faculty can receive
help with the technical aspects of WebCT, including uploading
files, managing assignments, and using other WebCT tools.
To help faculty focus on teaching, the online support technicians
also provide technical support for students. Students who
have questions or difficulty with WebCT can call or email
the support technicians for their technical support needs.
