The University of Houston-Victoria's Office of Human Resources provides a variety of service and expertise to all personnel of the university community. This office is committed to recruiting and retaining a qualified and diverse workforce. Such a qualified workforce is achieved through administering a competitive wage and salary program, a comprehensive employee benefit plan and educational/training programs that encourage personal and professional growth. The Office also provides a positive, professional and comfortable atmosphere to further develop human resources functions of the university, including counseling employees, monitoring compliance with the Affirmative Action Program, preparing reports for governmental agencies, and providing advisory services on all human resource matters. With a dedication to quality resources and the recognition that people are UHV's most valuable asset, the Human Resources Office mission is to promote a superior work environment.
