Homeland Security
The University has always placed much importance on the personal safety and welfare of our students, employees and visitors and remains concerned about your sense of security and well-being while on campus.
In response to hostilities with Iraq and various terrorist groups based throughout the world as well as continuing warnings of the possibility of homeland terrorist attacks, the University is taking a proactive approach in preparing for potential terrorist threats. We expect this to be an ongoing process. A process that involves reviewing our campus security in general, updating our security protocols when necessary and updating and providing new relevant information that may be useful to our students, faculty and staff.
It is important to remember, perhaps especially in these times, that each of us must assume an active role in our own personal safety by developing and reinforcing habits that will safeguard and protect us as much as possible.
