Learning Objectives

As a result of this course, students will

  2. Apply the knowledge gained in prior business courses to a better understanding of strategic issues in healthcare.
  3. 4. Analyze the healthcare environment to aid in developing effective strategic and operations planning.
  4. Know the concepts, theories, and frameworks for healthcare strategic execution process.
  5. Understand the challenges and failures that healthcare managers face in the strategic process in the managed care environment.
