Learning Objectives
As a result of this course, students will
- critically understand the complex processes of globalization, especially the links between economic integration and international competitiveness. To this end we will examine the reasons for the integration across borders of the markets in goods and the factors of production, and the consequences of these trends
- develop an understanding of the concepts of global economy and globalization
