Learning Objectives

As a result of this course, students will

  2. Comprehend and apply the legislations impacting the employment, retention, development, and termination of employees in organizations.
  3. Comprehend and apply the legislations and principles governing labor-management relations in the United States.
  4. Comprehend and apply the human resource management functions as they relate to the overall business strategy
  5. Comprehend and apply the human resource management functions in the areas of HR planning, recruitment, selection, training, performance appraisals, and compensation to solve real world human resource management problems.
