Learning Objectives
As a result of this course, students will
- Organize, analyze, and prepare financial statements for the benefit of the readers of financial statements
- Understand GAAP as it applies to current assets, current and long-term liabilities, revenue and expense recognition.
- Use of present value concepts as it relates to the preparation of financial statements
- Learn the importance and relevance of ethical behavior when preparing financial statements.
