This handbook is intended to convey information about university policies and procedures to our students. Students should also refer to other university documents like the UHV catalog, class schedules, or university officials for additional information.
Updates and changes are made annually to the handbook. Anyone with suggestions for amending or changing any of the information in this handbook should make those suggestions in writing to the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. All proposed changes will be reviewed by the Director of Student Life and Services and the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs. The university reserves the right to make changes to policies and procedures without notice as necessitated by governing authorities or administrative needs.
