Steps to Graduation

Dear Commencement Participant:
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! The University of Houston-Victoria looks forward to celebrating this achievement with you. To ensure a great event, please visit each of the links located on the left hand side of this site for very important information.

Steps to a Successful Graduation:

  1. The deadline for Fall 2011 graduation applications was September 16, 2011.

    Application deadlines for upcoming semesters are
    Spring 2012 -- application deadline is February 10, 2012
    Summer 2012 -- application deadline is June 15, 2012
    To apply for graduation, go to your MyUHV Self-Service and click on 'Degree Progress/Graduation>Apply for Graduation'.
  2. Order your Regalia and Invitations. Visit the Regalia & Invitations page for more information.
  3. Know what to expect on the day of the ceremony. Visit the Commencement Ceremony page for more information.
  4. Remember your graduation by ordering photos and a DVD of the commencement ceremony.
  5. Stay connected to UHV through Alumni Services.
