Bachelor of Arts and Sciences
This degree program is offered in all three locations: Victoria, Sugar Land and Cinco Ranch.
If you have an associates degree in Applied Arts & Sciences or technical or vocational courses from an accredited community or technical college, then the Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences (BAAS) may be the degree for you. If you want to have that competitive edge when job hunting, advance in your current field of employment, or get additional education to change career fields, then consider UHV's Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences degree.
To earn a BAAS with a Digital Gaming and Simulation concentration you need:
- 27 semester hours of upper division digital gaming courses as per degree plan plus support courses from math and communication.
- A total of 43 upper division credits required.
Eligibility
You are eligible for the degree if you've done one of the following:
- Received an Applied Arts and Sciences degree from an accredited community or technical college.
- Earned at least 24 semester hours of vocational or technical credit at an accredited community or technical college.
You can use between 24 and 44 semester hours of vocational or technical credit toward a bachelor's degree. For example, if you have an associate degree in Office Systems Technology or Respiratory Theory or some other technical program, most of the hours in that program will transfer to the BAAS.
