CORRESPONDENCE TESTING
The Academic Center staff proctors correspondence exams. It charges a $30 administration fee (check or money order), due on the day of the exam. For more information, contact Summer Leibensperger at (361) 570-4802 or at leibensperge@uhv.edu.


 ACADEMIC CENTER
Academic Center tutors are available to assist you with research papers, essays, and resumes. Stop by room UC 122 to sign up for a 30-minute session, visit the center online at www.uhv.edu/ac to find out how to submit your documents online, or email an attachment tutor@uhv.edu.
Writing Assistance
UHV offers free writing assistance for any document on which you are working for class, other than exams.  The Center also offers a wide variety of handouts related to writing, including titles such as APA Quick Reference Guide, Generating Ideas for Your Research Paper, and Writing Effective Sentences: Subject/Verb Agreement.  These handouts are available onsite and online at www.uhv.edu/ac. Visit the center often since the selection of handouts is regularly.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
