The combined campus incident log provides employees, students and the public information about the monthly safety and security

incidents that occur on the UH-Victoria, UHS Sugar Land, UHS Cinco Ranch and The Victoria College campuses. If you feel that

life or property is threatened, always call Emergency (911) immediately.

Victoria College

A textbook was stolen.  Restitution recovered.

02/07/06

Victoria College

A traffic accident involving students was reported at the VC Main Campus.  No injuries.

02/10/06

Victoria College

A disturbance was reported at the VC Main Campus involving a student making suicidal threats.

02/19/06

Cinco Ranch

A window was broken in a classroom requiring Ft. Bend Co. Sheriff’s office and UHPD to respond.  Juveniles seen running into woods but not apprehended.  Evidence left at scene.

UHV

An employee experiencing allergy symptoms suspects air quality issues in work area.

02/27/06

Victoria College

A disturbance was reported at the VC Gonzalez extension building involving a student trespassing.

 

UHV

 67 parking citations were issued for the month of February.

 

UHSSL

No incidents to report for the month of February.

 

Victoria College

456 parking warning tickets and 38 administrative parking tickets were issued in the month of February.

  • Ergonomic assessments can be requested by contacting Tamye Crockett (crockettt@uhv.edu)          @ 570-4858;

  • Read the Campus Safety & Risk Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes. The next quarterly committee meeting (FY06 Meeting Schedule)
    is scheduled on May 18, 2006. You are welcomed to attend the meeting;

  • Students should check their campus assigned e-mail account at least once weekly for the latest safety related information. To access
    your student email account, go to http://www.uhv.edu/it/student/login_tip.asp;

  • Report allegations of fraud, waste or other regulatory compliance issues anonymously and confidentially from any computer or
    phone. Reports may be made either online by visiting My Safe Campus or by calling the toll-free number, 1-800-716-9007;

  • Review the Campus Security Report. The annual Campus Security Report makes crime statistics and institutional safety
    and security policy information available to employees, students, and the public.
