SUBJECT: IDENTIFICATION CARDS

POLICY

University of Houston-Victoria (UHV) Identification (I.D.) cards will be issued to all regular, benefits-eligible employees on an annual basis.  In addition, I.D. cards are issued to adjuncts on a semester by semester basis. An I.D. card may be required for admission to or participation in various UHV programs or events;  to use University of Houston System or component facilities and services; for security purposes if an employee is working outside normal working hours or is in the building at night or on a weekend; and for the discount program offered by area merchants. The I.D. card is also an employee's library card.

Benefits-eligible employees must renew their cards annually.  Adjunct faculty must renew their cards each semester.
