SUBJECT: MEDIA RELATIONS
POLICY
The Director of Communications and Marketing is responsible for any relation of the institution with the media. This director should be aware of any institutional contact with the media to insure that a coordinated statement is made to the public, prior to being released to the media. (Please refer to UHV Administrative Policy and Procedure A-42 - Communications and Marketing.)
Also, publications, releases, etc. should filter through this position for review of accuracy, format, etc., prior to being released to the media (Please refer to UHV Administrative Policy and Procedure A-42 - Communications and Marketing.)
Exceptions to this policy are Human Resources advertisements.
