A newsletter from the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Business Services, Finance, Facilities, Information Technology, Human Resources Departments

Briefly from the VP

UHV is in the process of contracting with three architectural firms to do various work on campus. Rawley McCoy and Associates will be handling ongoing services, those services that are needed from time-to-time for smaller projects.  Courtney Harper and Associates will do work for the new Facilities building and additional office space. Courtney Harper has a local associate, Galen Mae. A third firm, PageSutherlandPage, will work on a facilities master plan for Victoria and Fort Bend. This firm has extensive demographics and flood plan experience, which will be needed in Fort Bend.  A facilities master plan forecast facilities needed 5 years into the future.

ProCard News:

Using your ProCard can save time! Remember you can use your ProCard for many types of purchases (See the ProCard Manual). A big benefit, this allows you to process one voucher for one purchase or a hundred purchases. Unlike PeopleSoft where you must process one voucher for each invoice received.

Please mark your calendars for the Administration and Finance Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, December 19th at 11:30 p.m. in Room 115.

All UHV Faculty and Staff are invited.
