Recover Deleted Items in Outlook

Information Technology recently implemented a feature that allows you to recover items from Outlook that were deleted up to five days ago.  This feature is available in the full version of Outlook as well as the web-based version.

Recovering an item using the full version of Outlook

Click on your Deleted Items folder.  Look for the needed item in this folder.  If it is not there, click on Tools on the menu bar, and then select Recover Deleted Items.  When you find the item you are looking for, select the item by clicking on it.  To restore the item to the Deleted Items folder, click on the Recover Selected Items button.  You can then move the item from the Deleted Items folder to other Outlook folders.
