All FINAPS/FRS/HRS/SIS
users must have a good understanding of Windows operating system as well
as Excel spreadsheet software for Peoplesoft implementation.
Computer Services will provide training in the summer for these
programs. Watch for the training schedule to find out when classes
will be held.

Rent-A-Car invoices will be charged to the departmental M&O.

note on your delegated departmental purchase invoices the delivery date of
goods or services. You can make this note by simply writing on the
invoice "Date of Delivery:___________."
This will help with documentation backup for the delivery date on your
voucher as required for the prompt payment law.

do not make the deadline (25th of each month) for Bank of
America Pro Card payments, you will need to do a Journal Voucher (6X) to
correct the subcode and/or account number in the default account. If you
have any questions, please contact Greg Fanelli at extension 820 or Debbie

1. May I use sick leave to attend a
parent-teacher conference for my child?
Yes, benefits eligible employee may use
up to eight hours of sick leave each calendar year to attend
parent-teacher conference sessions regarding the employee’s children who
are in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Employees must give
reasonable notice of intention to use sick leave to attend such
conference.
2. Is
there any type of leave available to attend a funeral of a deceased family
member?
Yes, benefit-eligible employees are
eligible for emergency leave (bereavement leave) because of a death in the
employee’s family, with the written recommendation of the supervisor and
the approval of the President. For the purpose of this provision, the
employee’s family is defined as the employee’s spouse or the employee’s
or spouse’s parents (or step-parents), brothers, sisters (or
stepbrothers or stepsisters), children (or stepchildren), grandparents, or
grandchildren.
