In case you haven't noticed, Administration and Finance Division has a new look to it's web page that not only has more information but is more functional.  Now you can find  information  quicker and easier.

Some new items include the PeopleSoft Financial page linked from the Finance page at http://www.uhv.edu/

.  You can find reference information and instruction regarding PeopleSoft Financials.

Another new addition is the list of State required reports linked from the Vice President for Administration and Finance home page at http://www.uhv.edu/fin/vice_pres/required_reports.

.  This page is under construction and many more reports will be added to the page as they become available.

If you are interested in finding out more about each department's mission and structure, you can visit the department home page and click on the staff links on the side navigation bar.  You can also find staff contact names, numbers, and e-mail address from each department's home page.

Facilities Services 

The University West Addition was opened for occupancy in late January.   The remodel in the West Building is expected to last through March.

A written request was initiated from Facilities administration to receive suggestions from university personnel for ways to improve the move process.   To date, the written responses have indicated support of the move process to remain “as is.”  We appreciate your support, cooperation, and patience towards facilities and contract personnel during the move.  

Irrigation and landscape activities have been delayed until the site dries and the contractor can place top soil on the site.   

The change-out of the coils on the Trane chiller at University Center building is complete.  These coils were obtained at no charge through negotiation with Trane after the warranty period expired.   The coils are valued at approximately $40,000.   (Labor was not included in this negotiation.)  

Facilities Maintenance and Grounds personnel are moving supplies and tools to the new Facilities Services Shop located in the Event parking lot.   This building will reduce the trips across the busy Ben Wilson street for Facilities personnel.  

Facilities oversight in Sugar Land is handled by the UHV Facilities Director.  UHV now has grounds maintenance oversight.
