VOICE - Victoria Online Initial Certification for Educators

Internships for VOICE Students:

Students enrolled in UHV's VOICE program may elect to do internships or practicums. The internship requires the online Applications of Educational Roles & Responsibilities I and Applications of Educational Roles & Responsibilities II, which are built around your full-time position as the teacher of record in an accredited Texas school. We have VOICE students located throughout Texas so your employment is not limited to the Victoria or Houston area.

UHV cannot assist students in obtaining teaching positions, however we can make some suggestions. The Regional Education Service Centers usually list openings for the school districts in their regions. A list of the regions is available on the TEA website. You can also call your local school district's human resources office to learn about new job openings.
