Victoria Online Initial Certification for Educators
The new VOICE of teacher certification in Texas.
You decide...
...when to enter the classroom:
- Work as a teacher while you complete your courses or
- Complete a practicum in your last semester.
...what you want to teach:
UHV offers online teacher certification:
- Early Childhood through Grade Four Generalists.
- Grade Four through Grade Eight Generalists.
- Grade Eight through Grade Twelve
- Math
- Science
- History
- Business
- Computer Science
- English, Language Arts, and Reading.
Pay as you go:
- Cost is limited to expenses for the six graduate level courses and the application fee.
- Payment is due as costs are incurred for tuition each semester.
- You aren't financially or academically obligated beyond the semester you register for VOICE.
- students are eligible for Troops to Teachers and Spouses to Teachers programs.
Choose your own pace:
- Finish teacher certification in one year, or
- spread your course work over up to three years if you choose the practicum.
- Enjoy all of the benefits of online classes
- No Saturday or evening meetings to attend
